I just got a copy of the Princeton Architectural Press Spring 2008 catalog yesterday. Dude, check out the image on the cover! Look at that wicker railing! The image is from a new book coming out called Finnish Summer Houses by Jari Jetsonen and Sirkkaliisa Jetsonen. Included in the book will be 20 villas, cottages, and cabins by architects such as Eliel Saarinen and Alvar Aalto--so you know it's going to be good. I can't wait to get my hands on a copy.

wow.. I have to say that wicker railing is shweet. I have been dealing in wicker patio furniture for a long time, but have never seen a railing like that. Very unique!

These designs look great! I've always dreamed of having my own summer house. And it came true when I purchased one last year! As a matter of fact, I was the one who decorated it. Putting on some ornamental iron doors and windows can are big add ups that can give your home a "summer feel". I've also placed indoor plants and painted the walls with golden yellow to make it look sunny.
