While we were at the Ace Hotel (and it's event space "The Cleaners"), I was in awe of the gorgeous terrariums they had on display. I just had to find out who made them. So I found out they were designed by a local designer, Martie, who owns Space Design in Portland. Here are some images from her website. Too cool.
BTW, I messed up on the post below. I meant to say that the Modern Economy sale in Portland will be in July 2008!! Duh.
I have recently become obsessed with these little glass dwellings...I will be making them and giving them as gifts in the future!
