After reading Leanne Shapton's graphic book, "Was She Pretty?" (it's about exes and it's good), I googled Leanne to see what else she does. Apparently, she helps run a cool non-prof indie publishing house called J & L Books. (BTW, the image above was inspirational in my new collection of stationery goods...you'll see soon.)
Looking through the J & L titles, I'd like to pick up Toronto by Leanne Shapton. (What can I say, I'm a fan of her work.)
And Jubilee by Ted Fair.
I'm bummed that OK OK OK by Mike Slack is out of print.
i think i have a copy of that mike slack book. and his other polaroid book too..

I didn’t know that she runs a nonprofit publishing house. That is so nice of her.
