If I ever have a reason to stay in a hotel in San Francisco anytime soon (mind you, I live 20 miles away), I'll be booking my reservation at Hotel Des Arts. They have rooms designed and painted by emerging artists. It would be just like staying in an art gallery and sleeping in one of the installations!
Of all the painted rooms, Kelly Tunstall's room (shown above) is, by far, my number one pick! I love the bathroom she designed/painted. I'd love to do something similar in my own home. And these are rooms I would consider as well if Kelly's room was booked:

Eric Orr, Room 508

Bask and Tes One, Room 408

Kelly Ording, Room 308

this place looks awesome - i like room 408
